Did you just buy a new camera or maybe only have a smart phone to take pictures? well with the beginners photography class, you can learn the in’s and out’s of photography and turn you’re snapshots into meaningful captures. This course covers basic concepts and practice of digital photography, The course will address aesthetic principles as they relate to composition, space, exposure, light and color.

We take the mystery and guesswork out of photography, and show you how to master your digital SLR or mirrorless camera in any situation. including understanding and use of the camera, lenses, and other basic photographic equipment. The thought of moving off AUTO can be daunting. To really get creative control over your photos you need to grasp some basic photography principles. This class is to fill that gap in knowledge so you can get into the more creative modes of your camera and start taking better photos.

This course focuses on the development of ensemble group-playing skills, and leadership skills for future music directors. Students will not only learn how to rehearse as an ensemble, but also learn to understand the role their instrument plays in a variety of musical styles. At the end of the course, students should understand to run a successful performance ensemble.
